Carrera Cowl Vent Block Off?

What are people doing with no HVAC and fan box removed doing to block off the vent (mostly for water) I was thinking of cobbling up something using the existing fan box and the drain tube but - probably rather just have it blocked off so no water can get in.

I could have sworn someone made one - can't find it now...

Make a blanking plate out of 1/8" aluminum sheet. Just trace around the outside of the grill, cut and peen gently with a hammer to shape.

one of the aftermarket places does make (or used to make) a block off plate. I think it has a duct to bring fresh air in, but can be easily closed off in case of rain (like it flips to 2 different positions). I can't remember the brand but IIRC it was pretty expensive, which is why most people make their own.

I removed the blanking plate and made an aluminum plenum instead. This supplies fresh air to the driver.

yeah, i made one for my other porsche but was going to take the easy way and buy one if not to expensive. and, yes i placed ducts on the box such that fresh air was ducted into the cabin.
