Strange question... I know... go with me on this.
Does anyone know what type, size and thread count screw would be used to attach the electrical portion of the ignition switch to the mechanical portion of the steering assembly in an '83 911SC?
Here is a link to the part(s) I'm talking about: Complete Ignition Switch Assembly with Tumbler/Steering Lock Mech & Electrical This was a known issue when I bought the car. Looking to fix it now and I don't want to take the whole assembly out just to figure it out. Thanks in advance! |

If I'm reading the PET right, it's simply called a "shear bolt". No specs. P/N 999-219-017 02.
