Question Pulse Sender Connectors

I'm replacing my "splice in" senders and I'm looking for a the mating plug since the new one have plugs.

I'm guessing that its part of a wiring loom but something off the shelf may work.

Thanks

Where are the OEM's? are you saying the mating connectors are gone?

That part you have on the left holds the Wiring Harness that is connected to the DME. Boy, that will be tough to replace new or very freaking expensive

If the circled items are what you want to splice then those are very easy, they are generic for BMW, MBZ and AUDI I believe.

Those 3 plugs are part of the body harness for the DME, there shouldnt be a reason to cut them, they should be there.

There was a thread years ago, in which a guy found a source for those Bosch connectors. I wanna say, they were two prong. They'd make good spare parts candidates for sure.

Maybe something got lost in the translation...

This is a 3.2 transplant so I don't know why the plugs (2 of 3) have been replace by other connectors.

Since I'm getting 2 new Pulse Sender (fitted with the plug) I would be counter productive to cut them out.

So, like Joe Bob (but for a different reason) I'm looking for a source where we can get them. No I'll not replace the cabling from the DME side.

I'm sure these are not Porsche AG stuff, so they must be available some where.

The one for the Cylinder Head Temperature is a 2 prongs while the ones from the Pulse Senders are the 3 prongs version.

Since a pics is worth a 1000's word, here is 2K worth of it

From the Sensor side (Cylinder Head Temperature/Pulse Sender #1/ Pulse Sender #2

From the DME side (Cylinder Head Temperature/Pulse Sender #1/ Pulse Sender #2

Just talked to Glenn, he says they can get them but it's a Porsche item. All the Beemer shops tell me that they don't see a reference in the catalog.

Boy, from Porsche (I stand corrected), it could be pricey. How much?

Can he get both side?

Well, if it works why fix it? So much work and expense to make it pretty
