Hi danilo,

are you asking how to operate (open) the top (capote)?

I am sure someone can provide some info.

If you mean the electric cabriolet top, then there is a small switch on the left side of the dashboard. With the key turned to position 1 and the parking brake set, you press the switch toward you to open the top. You should first hear the front motors opening, then the top should start to open. There is a small red light that stays on during this process, and goes off when the top has fully opened and you are ready to drive the car. To close the top, you push the switch away from you, and again the light stays on until the process is completed.

Since you are asking this question, its possible that you found the switch and it doesn't work. This can be done manually, and the procedure is described in the owner's manual. This involves using a screwdriver to manually disengage the front latches from the windshield frame, then loosening the 19mm bolts on each side of the cabrio mechanism, each of which is behind a small round plastic cap by the rear seats. When these are loosened, you can lift the top and carefully open it. Then to close it, you would lift it again, set the pins into the guides on the windshield frame, and again use a screwdriver to close the front latches.

This is a fairly involved process, especially since closing the front latches with a screwdriver takes many, many turns. There are quite a few threads devoted to this topic: search on
"993 convetible top closure problem" (note the misspelling)

Another word of caution, once you have made it manual, its almost certain that returning it to electric operation will be a complicated, and possibly expensive ordeal, of realigning the top, fixing the motors, and/or fixing the transmission mechanisms. A lot of people (such as myself at the moment) leave theirs in manual operation, although in my case the front latches work - I just have to do the opening and closing manually.
