Oh no.....it's happened again!
I bought another "Project" I can't help myself .... Vin # 9112301430. It looked so abused, sitting in the west coast rain, someone had butchered it with later impact bumpers, mirrors ect...I think I used to take home stray cats when I was young too..I think I'll get a nice cold beer in my hand, sit down tonight, and just look at it, dreaming of It's past and It's future life.....

Unfortunately, It's only a project that I saved from the wrecker....I will try to get the digital camera from work next week for pics, just so you can see how abused this car was.....I still haven't decided what to do with it....it may return to life as an RS replica project....I haven't decided yet.....I already have another 2.4 liter project engine on my engine stand, so this might be next years project.....

![]() Wow 8 years! Update, I had the car running for about 4 fun years, kind of lost the Porsche bug for a few years. There was a lot of rust and felt unsafe running it so I put it in storage since then. I just recently rented space in a friends warehouse. I am probably going to tear it apart and see what I have got over the next year. I bought it for a song because it wasn't running when the previous owner was selling. I could tell it had been sitting for a while because it had been for sale for a long time. It didn't take too long to diagnose the ignition and original CDI were toast, replaced with MSD. Had to replace some fuel lines, the rubber brake lines, tune the MFI, one tensioner collapsed just after I had the engine up and running, so it was replaced with Carrera upgrade. Really loved driving it, the 2.4S engine was much different than the 2.4T. It is kind of a sad story of a longhood someone updated in the 80'S to short hood with flares blacked out trim ect... that was popular in the day for some reason.... I bet there aren't too many cheesy Recaro seats with speakers mounted in the headrests around anymore. I'll have to decide what to do with the car (not for sale). I may look for a donor car once I look into it. The engine and parts may end up on my 72T in the end. I have only recently started taken up the bug again, I am building a 2.4 engine in my backyard right now, much to my neighbors dismay. I may have to move all car related projects to the warehouse.....I'll try and update pictures if I get around to tear down. Who knows? it may end up restored to it's former glory some day
