hey guys.
I ended up buying that 95 993 today...will post pics tomorrow. Its gonna be sad to see the SC go. I dont understand why a 1995 993 would have an analog odometer, considering my 1992 BMW 325 had a digital one... Just doesn't make sense. --Dave

When digital electronics first came out, everybody wanted a digital watch, with red LEDs. Have you seen any digital watches lately? It is because digital is ugly and without class. Analog, despite what many people have claimed, is not dead, is never going to be dead.

Your going to be in for a real shock when you pop the engine lid and find out that a 1995 993 still has an aircooled engine.

Heck, even in the 80's most cars had coilover suspension while the Carrera continued with torsion bars until 89. |

it is because once Porsche puts a gauge in a car, it uses it for at least 20 years. Digital odos are much harder to roll back.

What is so is awesome about an analog odometer?
They are easier to tamper with, and digital ones never go bad. Its just an odometer..it doesn't have esthetic value to it.
