Yet another 1973 RS tribute finished....
Hi,
I am finally almost there with my RS tribute. It is a 1972 911 T Coupé, which already had Carrera flares, and had a non-matching engine. It's definately not a true replica, more like my interpretation of a RS tribute. I sourced a 1983 3,0 SC which I mounted in the car with the help of several post at this forum. I think I started around 10 topics, and have at least 25 posts, to get the engine running and all the little things sorted. Not to forget the tens of hours I have spent reading and searching other threads! The 17" Rota Fuchs was a given, after trying them on my 1986 Carrera. They look great with the RSR finish, together with a 3" drop. Some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have yet to sort the chassis, since the front suspension needs a rebuild, and I have to mount sway bars front and back. So, thank you all that have contributed to my build! I couldn't have done it without you! Regards, Johan

Wow.... I keep trying to decide between going with a RSR body or RS on my project. Seeing cars like yours makes me want to keep it somewhat narrow and go RS.
Very nice car . Did you do the paint work? |

Thanks guys,
I appreciate it, after 500 hours of hard work.... The car was originally Viper Grün, and one of the most satisfying parts of this project was to return it to it's original color. It's great to see the new paint melt together with the paint under the hood and inside the doors. A friend of mine helped me with the paint job, and did a pretty good job considering what we started with: ![]() It was a good object, but we had to re-do a lot of the body work. I spent the most of my time getting the 3,0 engine to work in the car, with the help of the pelican board. Thanks, Johan

Amazing transformation!
Kul att se en Viper-gammelelva återställas, 72:an är ju en favorit dessutom... BR Tomas |

Great work, I think the RS (Tribute or otherwise) cars look amazing in viper green. All of your efforts more assuredly paid off.
