Question 1979 911 SC This SHOULD be an easy one.. (Window Wipers)

I took my wipers off my 911 to have them sand blasted and powder coated black. First question, I cannot remember which side the bent arm goes on? and second the plastic end that covers the bolts broke when taking off. They were very brittle and cracked quite easily. What are suggestions to replace so the bolt they slide on is not exposed?

Oh leave him alone, he is on fire. Just don't burn yourself out like many of us did here

When start spending 16 hours on a project straight, that is the time to take a breather and walk away and drive her to remind you why you are doing all this madness.

haha!! I am having a lot of fun, but it's funny, as I get into something, I just go deeper and deeper... I see now how a complete restore happens

So I picked up my powdercoated wiper arms- Very nice. My powdercoated fan shroud looks great too. I finally have the alt back in the shroud, and I did not damage the fan ( woo!) I managed to fill a grocery bag with extra wires and crap and am contemplating restaining the wood floor boards with some black stain.

This weekend I shall put the car back together somewhat to drive her around again. I have been miserabale while the car is sitting, I aslo ordered some nice black wheel centers for my cup wheels. The A/C really SUCKS in my car, so it;'s been so hot in Denver it's nice to have the AC in the other car tho..

Next week the wife and kids are awy so I will definitely take that time to wax her up. and get some interior cleaning done. I'll post pics when complete .. Thanks for all the help/ That Alt was a MOTHER ! Shop had to replace all 6 casing bolts, and re thread two holes. And replace brush on the voltage Reg.

I LOVE my Porsche Shop tho, Eisenbuds, you're the greatest!!
