Intermittent delay when starting..
Hello folks,
I've began to notice intermittently that when starting, the starter doesn't crank right away. There is a 1 to2 second delay before cranking. Today, when I fist turned the ignition, nothing happened. I can hear a buzzing sound but no crank. The starter cranked the second try. My battery is only 1 year old and is fully charged and my starter is a High Torque starter installed approx 2 years ago. Could the solenoid be acting up? Or maybe I need to replace or clean my ground straps. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Carl
