Shifting problems
Good Morning All,
I was driving home on Sunday and noticed that the Carrera did not want to shift into 5th gear. It also does not want to go into Reverse. I have never had this issue before and it just come up out of the blue. Do you think it could be a shifter coupler issue? It has always shifted great up to this point. Thanks Jeff

I sure would take a look at the coupler first. Since 5th and Reverse are on the same plane, I would bet on adjustment issues.

I would bet on wear issues. Check coupler, shift rod and shift lever bushings.
