Porsche Crest Proper torque for '69 912 cv joint bolts

I have done a search & asked this ? on the 912 web site and have checked with a Porsche dealer service dept. I have been given three different answers.....31.1, 60, & the dealer said 45. The bolts are M10X55mm with a grade rating of 12.9 which is the strongest. Can anyone give me the right torque for the 1969 cv bolts? Many thanks for your input. Don't want to screw this one up.

The bolts are M10 (10x1.5 mm), use an 8 mm Allen wrench and take 60 ft-lbs.
Re-torque them all after about 100 miles.

Glue the gasket to the CV joint, not the flange.

Try and keep the threads free of grease.

Use new Schnorr washers (replace later if you can't now).

Replace any damaged bolts with the proper 10.9 grade bolts (not hardware store parts).

EDIT:
Here is the definitive thread on this subject:
Reconstructing Constant Velocity (CV) Joints
It is long but manditory reading and study.

Best,
Grady

Post Grease caps

Thanks Grady!

Just want to clarify, that Grease caps were not used on 100mm axles, if it correct?

If yes, do you know part number?
