Finding original info from serial number
Is it possible to find out anything about a 1969 911 from the serial number-original color, delivery date, destination etc? without going through the COA procedure.
I can pm the serial number to someone if it is possible...

Thanks for that. It confirms what I knew, that it is a Karmann coupe but I wondered if more info is available.
ps This is not for my 82 SC ![]()

The COA is your only hope, and it may not have complete information.
Only the year, model & body type are encoded in the VIN.
