Engine Compartment Seal
Last weekend I pulled my engine, I would like to replace the engine compartment seal. It is installed very tightly. Seems that it is crimped in several places. Has anyone replaced one and do you need to open the crimps up and re crimp the rubber seal? Hate to pull it out and find out that it's almost impossible to get back in.

You just slide the new one in. It's not too bad.

Spray Pam on the parts and they slide together much easier.

Open the crimps with a large bladed screwdriver. Didn't have much luck sliding seal in so I just put one edge in(lower) and pressed the upper as I went along.
