Fed up with ALSM/ESPN3

I mean, really. What the hell were they thinking? Kill any audience you may have for a less than lucrative deal to put all your races on the internet? After trying to get ESPN3 to load and then having to try to watch stop action racing, I quit. How did the Porsches do? Anyone know or care?

Falken Tire Porsche RSR won with Wolf Henzler. Patrick Long aquaplaned out of second place on the last corner before they threw the yellow. Then they red flagged the race. Wolf went from 5th to overtaking Patrick in the lead in the only green flag lap in the torrential downpour. Apparently Falken rain tires are great.

The cars were making bow wakes, literally. Like Sebring 1966. There were cars spinning off left and right.

ESPN3 works great for me.

I have no problem with ESPN3 on my computer. FYI the race is running on ESPN2 tonight at 10:00 PM on the east coast.

Was at the race by the es's and oh man did the rain come down!!!!!! WOW. Give the Falken tire car credit he passed on the track prior to Long's spin. His spin looked almost like in slow motion, (saw it on the big screen track side).
Prior to the race the Lizards came into the Porscheplatz for a Q&A sessions. Burgmiester said the Lizards had to add 15 kilos to the car and weren't given a reason.
Ok off to the track for the Indycar race.

I think my issue has something to do with my ISP. Too often, Cox' "high-speed internet" really isn't. One would think that San Diego would afford better connectivity for the money we pay. . .

As I understand, all the Porsches got 15 kilos. The BMWs also got a smaller restrictor. It is the mid-season performance adjustment. The "experts" did a lot of number cruching and found the BMW and Porsche had an advantage over the Ferrari and Corvette. Both changes were supposed to be implemented at the last race but they messed up and only gave 13 days notice for the air restrictor and they require 14 days. They could have added the Porsche weight but they decided to do both at the same time, even though weight changes do not require 14 days notice. The Porsches had been given a 25 (?) kilo weight break since last year so this just put most of that back.
