decel flutter

Hi guys, a quick question on a recent turn of events. I have a 73, 911t which was originally a CIS fueled engine. I converted it to carbs with Zenith 40tins and have been happy with the change. On acceleration, the engine pulls very smoothly, but at very light decel, (not coasting with the foot off), there is flutter and, at first, thought it to be electrical. Perhaps a wire grounding or timing issue. Haven't found anything. Any ideas.

Thanks, g
