Turn Signal Question
On occasion, my right turn signal would not click off after straightening the wheel. I happen to be working on a few items with my steering wheel off, so while there I looked at the turn signal assembly. The turn signal turns off easily when I touch the plastic tab that extends when you activate the switch, so I'm assuming that the tab on the hub is passing by the turn signal tab when the wheel centers.
When the tab is extended, should it be touching the steering wheel shaft (mine has a gap of approx 1/16")? Would appreciate some insight as I can add a couple of washers so that the switch tab is closer to the shaft. Thanks.
