Question still stands.

What will motivate the beast? Engine? Tranny? Induction?

Lets look inside the binder and see what we've got...

This certainly looks interesting...but where is it you ask?

Thats a very good question Dan, but first, I am afraid that you will pee your pants if I don't answer your earlier question soon, so here goes:

A few track days per year, as well as going for ice cream.

...maybe with Dan and his family if he forgives me for keeping him in suspense

Purdy.

Can't wait until it's all cleaned up! When's the last time it ran?

When did it run last?

How 'bout now?

Dusting it off, bringing it back to life properly, and seeing how accurate that old build sheet from the big binder is...

'wayner' - This is moving along quite nicely. What's the condition of the engine after your analysis? You are further along than I expected.

The engine tested out fine. (I almost peed my pants!)

A bit of carb cleaning and some TLC to bring it back to life gently.

Haven't done a full power pull on the dyno yet but it looks strong. Zero leaks. Yes Zero!!
(I think there is oil in there somewhere...)

Engine will get detailed and stored for now, Sam.

(It's good to have a friend with a Dyno :-)

That's a major headache out of the way. Transmission checked out as well? You have a body to concentrate on then. Seems like a big project but with an engine waiting to be dropped in, I'm sure there's extra motivation and incentive. BTW, are you doing the body work yourself.?

You'll get there with the transmission soon enough. You are not wasting any time with this 'check out.'
