not level in the rear

I am rebuilding a 911T.

I needed to put a new metal tube on the left side rear torsion.

I replaced the outer 300mm of the tube and used 3" OD X .083 wall tube.

I stuck it together knowing it would not be level.

Indeed it was low on the left.

Then I raised the left up one tooth ( I think ) and it is now too high.

At first it was about 50mm low and not it is less than 50mm high.

How much should one tooth raise it?

Do I need to know anything else or just try again until it sits level?

Thanks,
Tony

The inner torsion bar end has 40 splines. The outer end has 44 splines. You turn the inner end up one spline and the spring plate down 1 spline and you get 0.8 degree increments for adjustment that way.

Being able to move it .8 degrees at a time will make it much easier.

Thanks for the information.
