My driver side electrical widow lifter has stopped working (fortunately with the window raised). My first idea was that the swich was broken, so I swapped the switch with a good one but it does not work either.
Is there any other suspect besides the lifter motor? The passenger side lifter works ok so I think it is not related to fuses/relays. Thanks in advance!!!! ![]() |

Check if you are getting power and ground continuity to the pins on the relative connectors. Exhaust all the simple stuff before going to more expensive stuff like the motor.

Mine stopped once. Turns out it was stuck. Someone pushed down on the window while I operated the switch to get it open. Put some silicon spray in the window channels and it has been fine ever since.

Tried the "push down window while pressing the button" trick but does not work
![]() Also the wires have the correct power and gound. Time to change the motor... |

yup. mines apart with the door off, waiting on motor from Wayne. ck'd wiring, new switches, etc--not going back together till new motor in and tested.
