911 '85 Power Locking Problem
Hi All
I've recently purchased a early 1985 911 cabrio and i would like to bring it back to it's splendor. Now i'm working on the electrical components. The car was equipped, by the previous owner, with an old anti-theft system...but it's broken so i would like to remove it...but the one which had install the anti-theft had removed the original power locking and replace it with the anti-theft one (i've the central locking button in the central dash but it is disconnected) ! Now i would like to restore it to it original condition but i need the wiring diagram of the power lock. anyone could help me? thanks a lot Filippo ps here is my beauty (don't look to my face ![]() ![]() |

1st Welcome!
Wow, where to start? OK, did you get a Bentley Manual? Are the OEM components there just cut wires or are they pulled?

hi
I've check with my car electrician and seems that the car wasn't factory equipped with power lock... it was fitted with some non-Porsche power lock system. i really don't know it it worth the trouble(and the cost of the components:actuator,micro-switch,central unit, etc) of re-installing the factory power locking? |
