Stolen race car and trailer.....

OK everybody.. Keep your eyes open. Car and trailer below has been stolen from the shop sometime between Sat afternoon and early Monday morning in Marietta, Ga.
VIN # is 9118302275. Car has 993 bodywork, and all the race stuff. (cage, fuel cell, transponders, etc) The left front door was not in the trailer as he was repairing it, so this car will be missing a door or have a mismatched door on it. Was inside an enclosed 26 ft. black Haulmark trailer. Any info please email, or PM me, or call John at:
seven seven zero- eight two six- one six one five.
I will get more pictures up soon..

Thanks all...

This happens too often. We never hear how the story ends. Could it be the same people?

There was a Chevy panel truck taken two weeks ago that was recovered less than two days after being spotted by a member of another forum. A thread had been posted there- first time I'd ever seen one recovered and quickly, at that. Here's hoping that someone around here can spot the bastards.

As for me, I'll put a camera in my car just in case I see it on the road.

Yes, that is his phone number.. and i would assume that the car would come out of the trailer sooner or later. Here is a generic Haulmark that looks similiar..

no.. other than a broken left rear handle/latch and a 6 foot long deep scratch down the side, it looks like evey other one out there unfortunately.. We're hoping the car pops up somewhere.

when I raced, I had my Phone # painted on the roof of my trailer in BIG #'s

If my trailer was ever stolen the heloCOPters would be able to spot it!

Thats a great Idea, when I was racing open wheel cars I painted on the bottom of everyone
" Roger, I need help, please call" and then my ph number, lucky for me that side of the car was never exposed

I have posted this to Clarks and Corner Carvers.

It is also over on Grassroots Motorsports as well (where I stumbled on it)

I figure the more eyes looking for it the better.

Jim, funny you mention that. We've done that with previous trailers, but simply hadnt gotten around to it on this one yet. We were just talking about that a week ago..

And thanks to everyone...

Isn't that where a certain less-than-reputable dismantling company is located?

Do you think?

I was a good friend of Greg Blackwell when he raced that car.
