I can't help with the bottom side adjustment - don't know about that. But as I understand it you should be able to adjust cold and warm pressures independently if it's working right. there's some discussion of this and the reasons why earlier in this thread.

I was able to adjust the warm pressure with screw on the bottom. The trick is adjust the BM bar all the way up, then adjust the warm pressure with the 4mm screw on the bottom. Let cool, then adjust the BM bar for cold pressure. I think I have it all sorted out.
