RS Flares or SC Flares

To all the experts out there : Are these RS flares or SC flares I'm thinking RS because of the shape at mid arch .& they are not uniform in size through out the arch

Flares.......

Looks like SC flares to me. The RS flares have a wider face on the well lip. I put an RS fiberglass rear bumper on my SC and had to narrow it down some.

I'm going to say SC/ Carrera. The flares tend to look different when the rockers are removed.

It appears to me that something else is going on there. SC/RS.. something doesn't look right

Can we get a direct side shot photo, perfectly perpendicular to the car? That would tell us more I think...

Appears to be RS profile flares to me. The lip tapers like an RS lip.

They look kinda like RS to me.

SC vs. RS:

As I understand, there should be 2.8 mm from the edge of the lip to the top of the vertical edge where it bends into the fender.

Those are RS flares and you might want to consider raising the ride height in the rear. It's too low...

Under all that is a '70T? Wow someone spent some cash back in the '80's.

Still trying to figure out what the PO was going for SCRS or IROC ? Car is super fast & tight with Zero rust . I'm a lucky BOY Thanks Guys for the info. My next question is are the RS flares more valuable/ harder to come by.

Neither. Both of those cars have flares that are the same size as a turbo, so not even close to what you have. Either he liked the look of the '73 RS, or he just wanted to put wider tires on the back of the car.

Yes, although they aren't worth a ton of money. Most people would prefer those over the SC flares on an early car.

My guess it was an older conversion. 20+ years ago you could order them from a dealer and they weren't very expensive. Not sure if they are available direct now.
