Unable to block large glowing orb in sky from blinding me

It occurs to me that my sun visors are gone. Missing. Vanished.

Where should they be mounted? Are they supposed to go on top of the headliner material? Any pictures handy?

Thanks guys.

I carry around a small tube with a few "Sun Spots" (clingy tinted vinyl) that I bought from Sporty's Pilot shop about 30 years ago.

they attach with one screw through a plastic/metal bracket at each end through the headliner. the old visors are notorious for puffing up like the sta-puft marshmellow man and looking ridiculous, which is probably why someone removed them.
