2000+ Photos from Rennsport Reunion IV !!!

Uploading now. Here's the link: Pelican Parts - Photo Gallery From Porsche & BMW Events

Plus, photos from the Porsche Race Car Classic too...

Enjoy!

P.S. I got a new camera with some new lenses that have enabled me to get some really good on-track shots. I'm still trying to figure out the camera (a few shots at speed are not as clear as I'd like them to have been though).

And people think I am nuts for taking 700 pics! They just don't get it. Thanks Wayne. I look forward to looking at your photos. Heck, I might even be in 1 or 2 of them!

It was a fantastic event. I was there Friday & Saturday, & the number of "significant" cars was just incredible. And standing in the Porsche parking area was overwhelming. I didn't even know which way to walk because there were cool Porsches in every direction.

I feel very fortunate to have attended RRIII & RRIV - can't wait until RRV!

Yup. Because of the big Pelican move and other factors, it wasn't terribly convenient for us to bring the cars to Monterey this time. But next time, it should be fun as we'll be very well prepared!

Thanks for posting ... I appreciate how quickly each page of pics load

Not sure how many pages are actually posted for RR but when I clicked on page 8 and page 9 it gave me an error message saying that the pages were not found.

Yeah, I ended up flying down and thinking I'd blow off one of the days to do other things in the area, but there was always something interesting going on that I didn't want to miss. The PCA offered a few talks by some of the well known drivers and race team engineers....very informative and amusing. It was a great show, still can't get over the guys throwing the very rare stuff around like that. Ya gotta love that Cork Screw. Cheers.

Race video from PCA Group 7. From the old "Musket" 911.

Here is the Group 7 Sunday race of Porsche's Rennsport Reunion IV (2011). This is the PCA Club Racing group.

Car: 1969 911E 2.5L (210 RWHP) vintage 911ST spec race car. No aero, just mechanical grip. 48 of the 50 cars had aero/wings/spoilers....Not this old Musket.

I qualified 1st in class (GT4S), and 22nd overall out of 50.

Sit back and enjoy the sound.

Fastest lap 1:41.15

Chad,
You guys put on a great race! Really enjoyed it. I remeber you for two reasons. 1. the only car in the field without a wing. 2. You were having a hell of a time hooking up the front end through turn 4. I remember seeing all the arm movement,(I was flagging in 4).
For as many cars as there were on the track, there was very little trouble. Couldn't believe the 58! Came close to lapping the field!

Thank you so much. It was a great time.

The car was a handful! More than I can ever remember with cold tires/pressures. I went from 245 front tires to 225 width, I know that did not help.
I'm thinking my alignment was knocked out from all the curb hopping over the three days. I have not checked it yet. When the tires got to temp on the left side, it was not as bad (unless someone threw more sand on the track)
