3.6 Conversion Cold Start Issue

I have a 3.6 in my 1983 911 and have noticed that when I start the car after it has been sitting (like overnight) it cranks for several seconds before it fires up. It acts like it needs to get fuel back to the rails. When I installed the conversion the accumulator was removed. Could this be letting the fuel drain back to the tank?

After the car has been run, it restarts instantly.
