Broken windshield - Need help

So last month my SC Targa windshield was broken by an hailstorm and needed to be replaced, so I got a new one from Rosepassion.fr but tried to install, it is too small!

The windshield measure is vertically 60,40 cm (23,8 inch)
Mine has 61,7 cm (24,31 inch)

I wrote to Rosepassion and they told me that all versions of SC install the same glass (the one they send me).
I was to the Porsche centre and they told me that every version has a different windshield (Cabrio different from Coupé, different from Targa)

I'm not understanding.

In the Porsche center there were no Targas but I measured the winshield of a 3.0 Turbo coupé and it was 57 cm. (22,45 inch internal measure from seal to seal)
I took the measure in a 964 and it was 58 (22,85 inch)
I took mine, seal to seal: 59 (23,25 inch)

My windshield is from a SC Targa or from a 964?

Windscreen replacement.

Without your replacement P/N, constuctive comments might be difficult.

Here are a few from my PET program.

Good luck,

Gerry

i have a new one here. measures 23.6875 (23 11/16") 60.16498cm. mid '89 and later were taller and the rubber was different to accommodate it. coupe/targa/cab, same dimensions up to mid '89, AFAIK. did lots of them and never had a problem.

you probably have a 964 glass and seal. 964 rubber does not use the metal trim like on '89 and earlier carreras, SCs etc.

For more information I took the numbers on all the glasses:

Rear Glass - SEKURIT 43R 001026 - DOT27 M25100 AS2
Side glasses - SEKURIT 43R 001026 - E00067 DOT27 M53 AS2

Windshield - 43R 001047 AS1 M83-3 DOT25 WSG WD A ...8

The windshield isn't marked SEKURIT so I think have been changed but no numbers of my glasses fit with PET numers (unless it will be easy: 911 stays for an SC; 964 stays for a C2)

Possible that all my glasses are from a 964 (means all the body) or only the windshield? Do you imagine that's possible to fit an SC engine and tranny in a C2 body?
