The original selling dealer of the car did not apply the stickers either under the hood or in the manual. So I don't know whether the E23 group code would have been listed.

But I doubt it, since all of those options were listed individually on the car's window sticker...

why did you think you need it at that rather high ride hight?

my car is lower (no wheel gap) and doesn't need it

I don't know if the the rack spacers were "necessary" or not. I do know that the car's steering was less fussy with them in place.

I don't have any in my current '72 911T, which is sitting a bit lower than factory spec.
