I don't know that the .50 rounds on the window sill would fit in the old musket. Gee, seeing the apartment decor...NOW I kind of remember what it was like to be 23...

Hey Leland:

Is that Paul Wilding's engine drop tool?? I've been eyeing one of those things for a couple of months now.

BTW: Welcome back

What about the round on the floor under the 50 cal rounds??? Jeez I hope that its inert...

Did not know you were a blackpowder fan! I shoot a 54 cal myself and sometimes load black in my 45.70 just for fun!

Yes this is the famous Paul Wilding tool.
I couldn't be more happy with it... very very well put together.
JP, I was tempted to buy one of those Harbor freight motorcycle tools, but I kept hearing from people that they drop too fast.

Warren, the facial hair got old... too many complaints from the girlfriend.

Those rounds on the window are 20mm rounds as fired on Cobras and most USAF fighters... yes, they're inert.
And the big sucker on the floor is a ballistic windscreen off of an Eight inch Naval projectile..........don't ask.

I used to do allot of blackpowder shooting. I also have a .45 cal. long rifle, a 40 cal. Remington revolver (1858 Navy) and the rare two band Enfield you see on the picture. If i remember correctly, it's actually a .68 cal.

I used to do Civil War re enactments...

Did you slip it into the floor jack yet ?

You want it tight. Not much "play".
Or are we going to need to get a bushing of some sort ?

Can't imagine that all our floor jacks have a universal lift plate ?

Leland, I do like those wheels - I know you said they are a bit heavy but they sure look good!

Leland:

I dunno where "they" got that idea.(dropping too fast)
"They" may have gotten an early one or a lemon.

Easily modulated in the down mode. It can be set to superslowmo. I tried it at HF before buying.

Glad to see you got back safely, my son is in till Oct.....minimum.

BTW. I played with "8 inch ballistic windscreens"
in my USofArmy days. Unlike the navy, we didn't have a special name for them.
As I recall, it was the last peice we screwed together. It kept the heavy stuff in before the "event".
They fell under the blanket term "boomers".

Cary, it the adapter will fit any jack with the 1 3/8" (or something) pin receiver. Seems to apear any jack larger than 2 1/2 tons.
I have a buddy with a real nice floor jack that I'm going to pick up tomorrow.

JP, I'm very glad that your son is home. That's great news.

I am very happy with the wheels... even if the Fuchs are better!

Leland,
That first picture you drew of a 911 looks pretty good! It does however...resemble a 930...which is NOT a SC! And the framed one? A 993? Are you hinting of future WDPs?

How dare you put a Honda and a Dodge in the same picture as your Porsche. An outrage!
