I recently converted my 1985 911 from a K&N filter to a stock one. This a few months back, I was unable to fasten the lower rear clip after many tries and a lot of @&**s I decided to wait until I changed the oil to see if by removing the oil filter, I would be able to get to the clip. Will I did the oil change today and was able to fasten the rear clip after several tries, what works best is to connect the bottom rear clip first then the top rear.
