Lug Nut Socket Size?

What size is the socket / wrench size for the standard Fuchs wheel? I can't find a replacement wrench for sale anyone on this site and was curious.

Can someone please tell me the socket size?

Thank you, I know it's a dumb question but I have limited access to a Garage as I live in a high rise and most of my tools are in storage. Doing the simplest of things can be a real pain!

better a "dumb" question than rounded out and ruined lug nuts.

On topic-ish: My original 19mm black lugnuts are pretty scuffed. Once I replace (assuming replace is best practice vs. re-paint/re-anodize), should I:
- get one of those special "non-marking" lugnut sockets
- or just be careful

Thanks!

Just be careful. You can polish them but they might look odd with black center wheels. My soft socket broke apart. Use a good quality 19 mm deep socket with a breaker bar and you should be fine. Most importantly, make sure you Torque the wheels to 96 ft lbs. Do not over tighten those aluminum jobbies.

There are also sockets that grip the "sides" rather than the "corners" of the lug nuts... sort of a 'star' shape when you look down the barrel; these cause less damage/buring/scuffing to anodized lug nuts.

You have a lady friend who uses panty hose? No, not being kinky here...try placing panty hose material between the socket and the wheel nut...my tip of the year.

I've touched up scuffed lug nuts with a black Sharpie pen. Unless you're going to have a Concours judge looking at them with a magnifying glass, they look fine.

With tools in storage, just these wrenches:

10mm,
13mm,
19mm,

you will be able to twist about 80% of the bolts & nuts used on a 911.
