install case oil squirters: how

I am doing a rebuild on my 1970 911S. I have heard that in case of a upgrade to a 2.5 you should install the case oil squirters. Is there any point in doing so on a stock 2.2 S? Will tolerances in the P/C's which were based on higher temps be spoiled?

And if there is anypoint, what is involved in installing them.

Porsche started installing case squirters in the second year of 2.2 production so I guess they thought it was worther it. As far as doin git yourself I think you are best off getting a Porsche Machine shop to do the work as it involves driling holes in your case to hit an oil supply channel, and then installing and pegging the squirters.

I rebuillt my 2.0T into a 2.2S after I hand grenaded the motor on the track. Since I was goingthe S route I had the squirters installed whilst the case was being machined.

This isnt a DIY project, the hole for the squirter has to be drill at an specific angle to intercept the oil passages
