does a MSD 6201 unit completely replace the BHKZ?

i have a 71 911T. it is missing the bhkz unit. i have put one in from another car and it runs. do i have to find a old bosch bhkz? or can i replace it with a MSD 6201 unit?

The short answer is yes. I know there are some specific wiring issues that others will chime in with or you can search the forum.
