For me, I would just pull the covers as McLovin stated and maybe use a small magnet and mirror to do the 60 second inspection. Remember to jack each side to avoid big oil puddle.

Skip the head torque check. If a stud breaks during the inspection then there may be potential legal issues since it was "fine" before the requested procedure. Just my opinion...
