I just removed the original 2.7 from my 74 911 due to a thrown rod and shattered piston and replaced it with a 77 2.7. Most things are the same except the two main fuel lines, a couple of oil lines and some electrical. Does anyone have experience with this, any do's and don'ts? Any help would be appreciated.

2.7
You should probably have asked the question BEFORE you replaced it with another 2.7....

Hello
Best is to use the 74 heat exchangers and then you have to use those oilines. But you also can go the other way and need the 3,0 oiline from the engine to the thermostate/oiltank. Electric is straight forward from my ROW expirience. Fuellines are a bit to short to the fuelfilter ? Grüsse |
