Same here (seriously,..) ,..I just can't get the taste for the duck stuff,..just my preference......ducks do seem to be better suited on a Targa.

Would choose the tail in Mike's PIC for a Coupe,........

My '89 SA Edition will always keep that tail!

Best!

Doyle

( got rid of that ghastly rear wiper ).......

Best to all!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to point out that ANY tail could look good (from another Pelican thread here, hope Magnus don't mind).

Look at the 277 car behind him:

Sorry, I COULD NOT put my car together with Magnus collection (at least for now, where I wish I can) in the same response due to the Respect!!!

I have same tail, it looks like it from 70's cars, am I correct?

Thank you.

So, the BEST choice would be to have both, 1 week "Duck" and next week "Tail" ...

I was thinking to exchange my tail on duck, but now I would think more ...

Vestigail: 2. Biology Occurring or persisting as a rudimentary or degenerate structure. 3. Pertaining to, or of the nature of a vestige: a vestigial tail. 4. characters of organisms that have seemingly lost all or most of their original function....

Still think they are mondo cool because it is not a shape copied on other marks and cuase they don't scream poser turbo. (Let the hate begin!)

Edit: Unless you own a turbo.
Edit 2: Or an IROC tribute/clone
Edit 3: Track car cause the work better than a duck

Just make sure you get a reputable duck tail. I bought a steel frame one from FL. thinking it was the best, spent considerable hours at an extremely reputable Porsche only body shop and it still did not fit right. To add insult to injury it cracked after 1000 miles. Please be aware. I had an all fiberglass one initially for years and it was fine.
