G50 conversion questions

I have a bunch of questions on installing a short bellhousing G50 onto a 3.8l (964) RSR engine in a 1974 911 race car (unfortunately not mine ).

Before anyone suggests it, it isn't a kit from Patrick Motorsports and it should be assumed they are not particularly forthcoming on details of the individual parts of their kit to non-buyers. The person whose car it is has lots of potentially suitable bits, but is unsure if they will fit:-

1. Is the 930 flywheel 930 102 213 00 correct?

2. Pilot bearing - will the dual mass flywheel one fit - 999 052 169 00, or does it need to be modified?

3. Will a 3.6L puck clutch ex a 1992 Carrera Cup Car, which has the correct spline, fit - it may be too dished for this application?

4. What pressure plate is used for race applications (a light weight 3.6 Carrera RS one is available)?

5. What ring gear is used - is it the 930 turbo one - 930 116 230 02?

6. Is the throw-out bearing used the G50 one?

7. Which starter motor is used in this application (will a 1.5hp SC one suffice/fit).

Plus, any other useful information etc (especially pitfalls and problem areas) in fitting a G50 gearbox to 1974 body tub would be appreciated. The car has a custom pedal box and will use the Porsche hydraulic system otherwise. The questions are largely confined to which flywheel/clutch/starter etc will work with the short bellhousing. A Porsche gear shift mechanism will be used.

I have absolutely no input on your G50 question...but I did notice that this was you 912nd post. Which means the post before it was number 911.....I hope it was a good one!

Brilliant, Jasper! That really made me laugh. I guess it serves Cam right for asking all these high brow questions.
Actually, I'm curious: Cam- who has put you up to this? It's not a language you normally speaketh..

Btw, for curious readers out there, Cam has a little project under construction as we speak. He's being mightily coy about it I've noticed.

EDIT- I have been silenced ;-)

Actually Jasper, before you read this, this was my 911th post. I valiantly resisted the urge to bow out as Brainiac and Clark have before me, mostly because I'm not smart enough to come up with a clever name first (or now).

Number 912 was thanking Randy J, to be precise. I guess in number 913 I reminisce about the last couple of years, and sign off by thanking Randy again, followed by an impassioned plea for someone to answer the G50 questions...

One last bump to the top, then I'll give up - I promise...

Thanks again
