Headlight Switch Question
Just discovered this BB seems like a great thing. My first question is a seeming easy one buts its sort of brought my project to a screeching halt.How do you remove the headlight switch from the dash? Now stop laughing! I took the little plastic cover off hoping to find a nut to remove but found like a ring that I can get hold of. I'm in the process of replacing my turnsignal/ dimmer switch (stalk switch) and would like to remove the headlight switch so I can get at the wires easier. (Its also loose). Thanks for reading this.
Oh yea, 1979 911 SC. I'm going install headlight relay while I'm in there! |

Hello
Remove symbolcap. Unscrew M6 nut Unscrew knob Unhook ground Turn bezel or turn switch on the rear. To turn bezel you can use a retainer clip tool. On targa and convertible the switch is hidden behind the structur reinforcment corner brace. Voila it is now hanging down easy visible and accesible. Grüsse |
