I like your color choices. There is a grey blue that is really nice, too. An old VW color. Sorry, don't know the proper name for it. definitely an old school color like you've already mentioned.

Looks like a good tub to start with this project,getting harder to find,afterall rust never sleeps:(:(,good luck with it.

Now that the anodizing has been stripped its time to begin polishing and polishing, you get the idea. I started using a sander with 400 grit paper to remove the largest scratches, then moved to 400, 600, 800 by hand and then to the buffer. Many hours later the gaskets have been replaced and the frames are reassembled.
