Post Pictures of (almost) Finished Project !!

OK, Finally got the project car running! For those of you who forgot what is was - (yes its been awhile!) This car started life as a bone stock '78 Euro SC. It has gone through MANY phases with me. This latest one was to install a C2Turbo engine. Among some of the things I had to do included,
1)installing rear fuel pump, lines, wiring.
2)converting and splicing my 14 wire engine connector to fit this engine. Did I mention this engine has 2 14 pin connectors?, so I had to wire in the second harness with all the modules in as well, which meant figuring out how to bypass the alarm system and central electronics so the car would start!
3)fabricating a pulley setup so as to turn the alt and fan pulleys as one.
4)figuring out which mounts to use, because you see my car is a pre-89 model, everything on this engine is made for a C2 body style.
5)making all new oil lines.
**Well, I'll stop there! There was of course much more, but I have totally enjoyed putting it together. MANY THANKS TO DAVID GRISWOLD (of this board) for his readiness of supplies and manuals which made this MUCH easier! You STILL cannot wipe the smile off of my face from the first time I drove it and went into boost.(and each and everytime) HOLY S**T ! Raw Pure Power!
Anyway,... here is a couple of photos...
Marc

That's a great case of a 911 earning its wing. Very nice to look at, and I'm sure very nice to drive.

Are you runnning SC brakes and suspension? What are you doing to keep oil temperatures in line?

Gorgeous car.

Jack,,,,you were thinking along the sme lines as I was. Very curious what suspension and or brake upgrades were done to handle that motor. Very sharp looking car!

Awesome looking car!!! The only thing I would change is the chrome trim around the windows. It would look much better in black

Jack, and Greg...This car has long since had brake and suspension upgrades done to it. Running Boxter fronts and turbo rears, but Big Reds are soon to come. I'm running the biggest torsion and sway bars made for this car! But coil overs are coming soon as well. (I have a couple photos lifting the inside wheel at the track.) And for Jay, the window trims are the stock black annodized metal that came with the car, I dont know why they look chrome in the photo!
