Weltmeister Sway Bar set-up. Need ideas.

This is my first experience with the Weltmeister Sway bars. I would like to hear from you as to where they should be adjusted to. Meaning, where on the arm should I have adjusted. My arms are roughly horizontal to the ground and they are the 22mm variant front and rear. Of course I'll fine tune it from here but a good starting point would help me tremendously.

If you need this information, my set up includes poly bushings front, spherical's in the control arm, Neatrix in the plates, Front and Rear Bilstein sports, 22mm front t-bar, 28mm rear t-bar, 17x8/9 wheels, Victoracers (225/255) and 1/4" lower than Euro ride height. 50.2/49.8% corner balance w/sway bars disconnected.

I am trying to set it up for the track with little consideration for the street.

I just installed my WM sway bars in my '84 cab w/ almost an identical setup to yours! Here is how I plan to set mine up (based solely off the basic understanding of how they work):

Set them both to the center, so either can be adjusted firmer or softer.

Then go find an empty parking lot where you can go around in a circle, a make shift skidpad if you will.

Eventually, you will hit the limits of your suspension. If the rear starts to kick out first, adjust the front stiffer or lighten the rear. If the front starts to plow, either lighten the front or stiffen the rear. The perfect is to get as close to neutral handling as you can.

Now, I invite the "real experts" to counter this idea....good or bad?

Colby
