None- No one pays attention to car alarms. They are always going off for no reason and people hate them. Get a club for the wheel and lock the car. If it makes you feel better add some alarm stickers to the windows.

To be honest alarms have gotten way better when it comes to usable features. The two way alarms are great, who cares if the alarm is going off and no one cares, because the alarm has sent the signal to your alarm remote that tells you what's happening. Usually I'm never far from my car when I drive it ,so when my alarm goes off and my key ring tells me so by beeping and showing me a pic of what sensor got tripped, I'm on my way ASAP. Other than that function its nice not having to use the key to get in.
I use a viper alarm FYI.

good insurance is all you really need ... just about anything can be replaced ....

A hidden kill switch is only going to piss them off if they get in ..

you could always pull the DME relay ... Mine doesn't have one (80sc) but I understand the ones that do won't run with out one installed .. most car thieves don't carry one to my knowledge ....

Sand the paint off the door handels, polish them up and make them look like nice metal. Then put some rubber between them and the door panels. Build an DC to AC converter, and a 1 to 100 transformer then wire that up to the door handels. Put a nice kill switch in the wheel well or something. That will teach them a nice lesson about stealing cars.

Regards
Dave

I have read about time delayed kill switches. The crook would drive off but be stuck on the road nearby and try to get away without making a fuss or doing something to the car. Anybody who has a solution like that?

Trunk Monkeys....me and the misses love them ,now here is a great product. We got our first Trunk monkey for our station wagon(no trunk) 78 dodge if I remember corectly.
Now our daughter Cindy is off to school and we got her baby trunk monkey for her firefly hatchback (again no trunk)
Trunk Monkeys are great even if you dont have a trunk.

Try DMSO mixed with cyanide.
Place on door handle when parking the car for more than a day.
The thief gets it on his hands (right through some gloves even) and it kills him within seconds.
