Wire harness wrap

Does anyone have a source or idea for a replacement wrap of the wire harness in the engine bay? The current wrap is torn, tattered and dirty after 40 years and it would be nice to find something to replace it and re-wrap at least the portions that are exposed. I know that Painless sells a product, but it looks very different than what was used at the factory. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Here's the product sold by Painless, I don't find anything similar offered by our host:

Techflex works and looks best. Use at work all the time. Gets my vote.

If you choose to use the braided sleeve type...finish each end with a heat shrink (black) over-sleeve to make things neat and to stop any unravelling in the braid.
This will give you a professional look to the install.
Heat shrink tube comes in many sizes...right up to 8" or more.
It might also interest you to know that instead of hose clamps on some coolant hoses...they use very heavy duty heat shrink.

Grainger also sells some large diameter heat shrink tubing.
HeatShrinkTube, 4Inx5Ft, PVC, Black - Shrink Tubing - Wire Management - 4WNG7 : Grainger Industrial Supply
It is more expensive than the Techflex but appears more like what is there now. Does anyone have a photo of Techflex installed in a car?
