915 Trans 2nd gear repair
Anyone had good experience with someone not to far from Ventura, CA 93003,that can repair my 83 911sc 915 trans. 2nd gear is difficult to get into at times.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Box it up and ship it to John Walker in Seattle. He has done hundreds of second gear repairs in an 915.

So far, I have installed a new Wevo coupler and a new Rennline shifter with all new bushings. Also changed out the trans fluid with Sweptco. There is no grinding or noise, but at times, it takes a lot of force to shift into 2nd -up and/or down. All mounts look good.... ZZZZzzzz

Anybody care to hazard a guess as to the cost of such repairs?? My 915 is having similar problems............
