Re installing turn signal assemblies

86 911....reinstalling the turn signal assemblies after attaching a new drivers side fender.....now I have no idea why I took off both left and right assemblies when i started the job, but i did, so now I can't look at the other one to see how it plugs back in.....this is where y'all come in haha, there's three wires that come out of the rubber grommet, two of them have two metal connecters, and one wire only had one....so there's five connectors in total....where do they all plug in? there's two on the turn signal itself, and two single prong metal pieces that come out of the housing of the turn signal assembly...no idea what goes where

Can't say directly since mine is a 73 and has different color coding on the wires, but you should be able to look at the wiring diagram to figure this out. The diagram has color coding to match the wires.

You can download the 84-89 workshop manual here, it includes wiring diagrams for external lighting.

I recently had mine disassembled to clean up some corrosion issues.
