No reverse lights

hi,
took the car out yesterday, incredible weather !

noticed the reverse lights are not working.
other lights all work fine

I guess the first thing would be to change them ?

If both reverse lights are out, it may be both bulbs - or the wire in the front of the transmission where the switch is may have come loose (more likely).

Check your reverse light switch for sure.

I have the same issue (have for a while now) - I know the bulbs are good...anyone have a picture of the wire/switch that's in front of the transmission? I'll be under my car most of the coming weekend and would love to make an easy fix if possible...

reverse

Luc, vérifie la connection des 2 fils à la transmission, Ils sont peut être déconnectés !

Ou pire,,,,,,, la pin qui fait le contact à l`intérieur de la transmission est peut être cassée ou débarquée. Ca m`est arrivé l`an dernier.......!

Well it is kinda simple to replace, mine was leaking but functioning:

Disconnect Negative side battery

Raise the front end and safely secure with jack stands, chock behind wheels.

Get under her and remove the connectors carefully then the switch. CAUTION gear lube may leak out, be prepared, I did not raise my car high enough and lost quite a bit of gear lube, no worries, I was going to swap the gear lube in any case. If I drained the old gear lube first would have been less messier,

Install in reverse order.

That's it.

For those with older 915's watch for the pin, it may pop out.

Oh snap, I knew there was a cover for that switch
