Porsche sports racer

This just arrived in our shop:

1200 lbs, custom built tube frame, 356 power and suspension.

Beautiful proportions and flowing curves.

Built and used to run against 550s.

I'll post more pics and details as I learn.

I would put that in my living room in place of the TV and just stare at it.

I love the rear arches. So beautiful. All of the old Zuffenhaus racers are amazing (550, 904,906, 907, etc.)

I think I've seen it elsewhere before too, but nothing comes to mind... Anyone know if its been published somewhere? That has to be a beast at the track!

Looks an awful lot like a Pooper (Porsche powered Cooper). Here's a Pooper I took a few pics of:

I might have another pic or two of it sitting next to a 904. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Cool car. What are you doing to it?

Reminds me of the 718 RSK and RS60 that won Sebring in 1960. Thunder Ranch in San Diego makes a replica. I think the standard kit is left hand drive but I have seen one that was center seat.
