Here's one! ...The streaks in your underwear are just the skidmarks before the pileup! Unknown (who'd claim it!)

Racing & 911 Sayings/slogans

Heard allot of them in the last 40 years, but THIS one I copied and gave out to all my old race buddies.

As quoted in the BWTM page in Autoweek about two years ago.

... My apologies to the animal rights people

" TRANS-AM STAR PAUL Gentilozzi see former Indy star Bobby Rahal and they get talking about vintage racing. Gentilozzi say he's thinking of doing some, and knows Rahal's been bitten by the by the bug. So, Bobby, what's it like out there? Is it easy? Rahal: "It's just like clubbing baby seals."

Cheers,
Chuck

Hey, Chuck! From someone who grew up in a remote fishing village in Alaska and trapped furs for Montgomery Ward (as well as...well you know), that story hits very close to home...

See you in Cambria, buddy,

P.S. Yeah, Gibson, Bruce Leven owned Bayside Disposal and raced 935s and 924GTs in the late 70's to mid 80's. His mechanic, Chris Powell, works on my cars up here in the NW - he's told me some great stories about Bruce, Hurley and Peter Gregg.

Did you hear the one about the baby white seal that walked into a bar and asked for a Canadian Club, on the rocks?

Randy, I thought I remembered the name, thanks for the help.
Bring some of those stories to Cambria, I'd like to hear them.
I've got a few about Peter Gregg, including what he thought about my 65 911. He was an interesting guy, very complex.

The first few are for motorcycles

"If you love your bike, set it free. If it comes back to you, you probably high-sided!"

It's not the size of the machine...
It's the skill of the rider and the size of his balls.....

Two wheels are better than four but one is better yet.

Sometimes you just have to say what the f***- from the movie Risky Business; also from Risky Business- Porsche, there is no substitute

Drive it like you stole it- Justin from this board

I heard this here on pp too- You were flying when I passed you!

If I wanted to look cool I’d buy a mustang- I bought a Porsche because I am cool

One I will try and use in a self-induced situation- "Hey, ya gotta have horsepower and brakes!" (cheers to throm for the inspiration)

Pat
