cam timing
Its time to time the cams on my 84 Carrera. The modifications Ive done are a 3.4 Mahle cyl set, twin plug conversion and custom chip. Should I set the cam timing to factory specs?

you should ask this question on the engine rebuild forum. You will probably get more answers.

If you have the stock cams then time them at the factory spec. If you swapped cam grinds then you should use the spec that came with the new cams.
