Ditzy Dizzy
I get a clicking noise from my newly installed RS distributor.
It rises and falls with rpm up about 1100 when it disappears. I can also make it stop by pinching off the vacuum line. I can feel it when I put my hand on the Vacuum advance housing. I'm begining to think that disconnecting the line and plugging it off wouldn't be a bad idea. Can't find anyhing that's making contact, now. The rotor was touching the Pertronics unit, so I changed it out for a non rev limit unit and that clears....."that ougha do it", I sez......NOT. I'm stumped.

it's probably a retard anyway, so you don't need it. if the vacuum hose is attached to just one or two intake ports, it will pulsate. try setting the total advance to 35° and plug the vacuum ports. if it pings, set it back a couple of degrees from there.
